You may have purchased yourself a new games console and if this is the case then you could have a load of old games that you just don’t know what to do with anymore. When we have something new it can make our old games seem a bit dull; our temptation will be just to store them away somewhere and let them gather dust. The following are a few ideas however about ways to get rid of your old games.
- The most obvious solution would be to try and sell your old games. There are now plenty of places where you can do this and you might pick up enough cash to buy new games for your current console. If you want to get the best possible price then you would probably be best to sell your old games individually; this can be time consuming though. If you want to get rid of your games quickly however, you will need to sell them in one package and if you have the old console to go with them, even better. It will work out much easier to sell in one big bundle than to separate everything but you will get less money for it.
- If you are feeling charitable then you could give your old games to a charity shop. There will be many people out there who are looking for these games and the money raised will be for a good cause. When we help other people it means we feel better about ourselves.
Leaving your games at home somewhere is actually not a bad idea. The value of these games could go up quite a bit in a couple of decades if the popularity of retro games at the moment is anything to go by. But it is important that you know where you are storing these games and that you actually remember about them in a couple of decades from now.
